DENVER - The Latin American Educational Foundation (LAEF) announced today the appointment of E. Martín Enriquez to its Board of Directors. Martín is currently an attorney with Lewis Roca Rothgerber LLP.
He is involved with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver. Martín is also one of the Denver Business Journal's "Forty under 40" winners. This award honors Denver's young, dynamic, up-and-coming leaders under the age of 40 and recognizes them for their business success and community contributions. Martín is also a member of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation's Leadership Denver Class of 2013.
Since its formation in 1949, LAEF continues working to ensure the success of the next generation of Hispanic students. This school year, 110 Latino students were awarded LAEF scholarships totaling nearly $200,000 - in addition to providing invaluable student support services, advisement and assistance.
LAEF is a 501c (3) non-profit corporation and generates its funding from corporations, foundations and individual contributors.
