The compassion these kids possess is amazing and inspiring. One for instance, believes that education can break the chain of poverty and eliminate illiteracy and has stocked shelves full of books for kids staying at a women's shelter. Another winner, inspired by the death of friend, makes friendship bracelets that are delivered by kids to other sick kids in the hospital. Dealing with mental illness is hard enough for adults, but yet, one winner has found over 400 hours of his time to help clients at the Jefferson Center for Mental Health.
