Jake Schroeder of Opie Gone Bad says "Since we started Opie Gone Bad in 1992, doing charity work in the community has always been a huge part of our overall mission. Thank you to 9NEWS and all of the very talented musicians who donated their time and talent to help end hunger in Colorado."

Produced and recorded over four months, every musician, singer, producer and artist donated 100% of their time and talent. All proceeds from the sale of "Opie Gone Christmas" will benefit 9Cares Colorado Shares helping to stock local food banks.

"9Cares Colorado Shares represents a tradition of giving," says 9NEWS Vice President of Community Affairs Lynne D. Valencia. "Every year we collect food, clothing and toys to assist people who need help. We thank the musicians and everyone involved with this holiday CD for their spirit of giving."

"Opie Gone Christmas" will be released on Saturday, November 12th. The Limited Edition CD will be available for $9.99 at all King Soopers stores. The album will also be available for download on iTunes.
