On Saturday 9NEWS received a total of 28 Emmys, including best Evening and Morning Newscasts.  During the black-tie dinner at the Seawell Ballroom in Denver, Mark Koebrich was chosen as Best Anchor, Drew Soicher received Best Sportscast, and Kathy Sabine was honored as Best Weather Anchor.  The 9Wants to Know team was honored for its work on internet predators in the Continuing Coverage and Interactivity categories.

During the evening, 9NEWS Investigative Reporter Paula Woodward and Anchor Mark Koebrich were also inducted into the Heartland Chapter’s Silver Circle.
