Denver, CO—On Monday, more than 70 food banks will line up at COMPA Food Bank Ministry to pick up food donated by thousands of Coloradoans during last weekend’s 9Cares Colorado Shares Holiday Drive. Please call Randy Barber at 303-868-7281, if you’d like to cover the distribution.
This year’s drive was record breaking. A total of 367,482 pounds (184 tons) and $104,000 were collected at 30 sites stretching from Fort Collins and Greeley to Castle Rock and Brighton to Glenwood Springs. Approximately 145,000 pounds of clothing were also donated, as well as about a dozen package trucks full of toys.
