Denver, CO– For the ninth year in a row, 9NEWS has been honored as the best station in Colorado by its peers. The Colorado Broadcasters Association named KUSA the Station of the Year on Saturday night during its annual awards dinner.
9NEWS Chief Meteorologist Kathy Sabine was honored as Best Weathercaster, while Marty Coniglio was named runner-up in the category. 9NEWS Sports Anchor Drew Soicher accepted the CBA award for Best Sportscaster and Best Specialty Reporter went to 9Wants to Know Reporter Deborah Sherman.
Finally, 9NEWS was honored for its work in the community, receiving the Best Community Service Project for 9Cares Colorado Shares, the bi-annual food, clothing and toy drive. Below is a complete list of KUSA's CBA awards.
