DIA hit 72 degrees during the middle of the afternoon Wednesday. This just below the record of 73 degrees set in 1974.

Cooler air and cloudier skies arrived on the Front Range Thanksgiving morning. Even with the cold air there was no rain or snow to be had.

The northeastern plains suffered through a day with very gusty winds from 20 to 40 mph.  Those gusts will dramatically decrease by Friday morning..

Dry weather is anticipated in the mountains for the weekend so Thanksgiving skiers will have to depend on man-made snow to keep conditions in shape.

Saturday will be very warm across the state with slightly cooler readings Sunday.  The next shot of cold air for the Front Range will be Monday.
