KUSA - A research team in Hong Kong is helping to advance the fashion world, and the name of their final product couldn't be more of an oxymoron. Their so-called "I"-Dummy is the revolutionized version of the mannequin.

Their latest fashion creation can change its length, curve and dimension according to the customer's shape and clothing size.

The I-Dummy can fit up to size 14 and it can change its size in approximately eight seconds.

As if that's not enough, the revolutionary mannequin can operate by using bluetooth smartphone technology.

In an already modernized world, the invention is expected to modernize the operation of the clothing industry to an even greater extent.

According to Dr. Allan Chee-kooi, the associate professor at PolyU's Institute of Textiles and Clothing, the "I" in I-Dummy stands for Intelligent.

"Basically you set the measurement that you want and it changes to the shape, the proportion that you want," Dr. Allan Dee-kooi said. "And also, besides the shape, we can have sort of customized shapes. So you can input your individual measurements and the measurement will come out, and this is very good for designers actually."

The I-Dummy costs nearly $13,000.
