The duchess, wearing a bright red coat, and Prince William visited with players who have been seriously injured during competition. She shared a hearty laugh at one point during her visit, which was caught by a pool photographer. The royals pledged their support for the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust before the big match on Saturday night.

"I got the impression that William and Kate were here for the trust, not just the match," Paul Davies of the trust told the Daily Mirror. Davies was paralyzed during a match when he was 21.

The prince became a patron of the charity this year and also made an impression on the players.

"He is dedicated to this great cause, he's shown that today. To get somebody of his stature to support us is incredible," Philip Harris, who was partially paralyzed on his left side after an injury he received during a game.

Oh, and by the way, the final score on Saturday night? Wales 10, New Zealand 33.
