USA TODAY - This calls for a toast!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are venturing into winemaking. The power couple will release Miraval, a vintage pink rosé from their 1,000-acre French estate, Chateau Miraval in Correns, France, on March 15 in the United States.

It will be the first offering from their vineyard, which they acquired in 2008.

The wine is part of their joint venture with the Perrin family, which owns Chateau Beaucastel, in the Chateauneuf-du- Pape region of the southern Rhone Valley, reports Bloomberg.

"We are intimately involved and quite enthused over the wine project with our friends the Perrin family," Pitt told Bloomberg through his publicist and manager, Cynthia Pett. The label on the bottles will carry the names "Jolie-Pitt and Perrin."

The rose, formerly named "Pink Floyd" - the band recorded its album The Wall in studios on the estate grounds - will now be known simply as Miraval, reports the Los Angeles Times. A white is planned for the end of the summer and reds next year.

The Perrin family began producing Miraval's wines with the 2012 harvest and will handle distribution, but it sounds like the celebs are heavily involved in the winemaking.

"They (Jolie-Pitts) want to ensure they are making the best Provence wines they can," winemaker Marc Perrin told Decanter.com. "They were present at the blending sessions this year, and are relooking at everything from the installations in the winery - where we have already switched to stainless steel tanks - to reworking the labels across the range of wines."
