DENVER--It's the scary movie season and Halloween falling on Saturday this year gives you the perfect excuse to spend part of the spooky holiday weekend at the movies.
DENVER - "Paranormal Activity" is the year's biggest horror hit so far, while the annual "Saw" tradition seems to be fading in popularity (although fans swear the latest is the series' best in years).
Among the various other options are offbeat indie flicks "The House of the Devil" and "Antichrist." Both are in limited theatrical release but also available through cable TV on demand services nationwide. ("Devil" is also downloadable on Amazon.com.)
