Denver Metro Food Banks

Food banks in the Denver metro area that are interested in receiving food from 9Cares Colorado Shares must complete a 9Cares application. As part of our effort to better serve food banks, we have partnered with COMPA Ministries. They not only help distribute the food, but also facilitate the application process.

To receive food from the 2008 9Cares Colorado Shares Holiday Drive, the application deadline is November 1st.

Outside the Metro Area

9Cares Colorado Shares supports food banks outside of the Denver Metro Area too. We partner with organizations willing to hold a 9Cares drive. 9NEWS promotes the site and all of the food stays in the communities it's collected in. Interested food banks outside the metro area should contact Alycia Gleave, the 9Cares Colorado Shares Coordinator.
