Our friends at the Clear Creek/Gilpin County Animal Shelter brought Hope by the 9Backyard during 9NEWS 5 a.m.

Hope is a 5-year-old Calico, and she is very gentle and affectionate. Hope would make a nice family cat and she gets along with other cats too. Want to adopt her?

At 6 a.m., the Denver Dumb Friends League brought Cyrus to 9NEWS.  Cyrus is a 1-year-old basset hound/ terrier mix.  He is very sweet and smart and knows a number of commands. He loves the car and snuggling. He would make a great family dog.
