Volunteers are not paid -- not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.
Every year the 9Kids Who Care program honors nine outstanding Colorado kids, who go far beyond the ordinary in serving their community. While the kids range in age from 10 to 18 years old, their volunteerism would be considered extraordinary at any age.
9NEWS and College In Colorado are proud to honor these great kids. In January, we celebrate the recipients of the 9Kids Who Care award during a special luncheon. A story on each winner is shown at the luncheon and on 9NEWS. Winners also receive $900 for college from College In Colorado and are featured on 9NEWS.com. |
