HDTV is becoming more popular and electronics stores now offer a good selection of HDTV sets. If you have ever looked at one of these sets, you know that the image they display is sharper and wider. It has lifelike pictures and digital sound. The higher resolution produces clarity like you have never seen from a picture tube. Films retain their original width, enhancing your home theater experience. Imagine seeing more of a football field, hearing a concert that sounds like it is in your living room or reading the dimples on a golf ball.
