Sixty years ago, an adventurous man with a pair of wooden boards strapped to his feet and an 8mm-movie camera in his hand changed the way people thought about snow. Today, Warren Miller is the most recognized name in the ski industry.
This winter, Warren Miller celebrates 60 years of filmmaking with the release of Warren Miller's Dynasty. Fresh cinematography and immeasurable talent explodes from Dynasty, showcasing the experience, the influence, and the originality that has grown from the action sports filmmaking institution that is Warren Miller Entertainment.
For the latest 6:20 Sidebar, Susie Wargin was joined by Felix Snow, one of the athletes featured in the movie. Felix is a mono skier who was filmed at Buttermilk in the X-Games.
Dynasty takes viewers on a breathtaking global tour of China, Alaska, Norway, Colorado, British Columbia, and more. Legendary WME athlete Chris Anthony treks into China's interior on a search for the birthplace of skiing; mountaineering marvel Chris Davenport travels to Norway's highest peaks; and there will be rare glimpses at historic clips from Warren Miller Entertainment's vault of vintage footage.
Dynasty opens in Boulder on November 3rd and will make stops in Denver, Littleton, Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Beaver Creek throughout November.
