“I got a new toy, so it gave me a chance to play with the snow blower,” said Doug Justi. “It’s one of the bigger and better ones, out of a company from Wisconsin. Seven horse power, 20 inch track width and it’ll throw a good 30 feet – so it’s more fun than anything.”

This past weekend, you might say Doug had a little too much fun.

“The neighbors think I’m crazy, but I love it,” he said.

Doug says he had to see some green.

“I love the snow, but when you see so much of it for such a period of time, it’s kind of nice to dig yourself out and get a taste of spring,” he said.

So he decided to snow blow his entire front lawn. He says it didn’t do any damage to the grass.

Now the birds are all coming to his patch of grass to enjoy it.

“We get blue jays, finches, robins. I’ve even seen some woodpeckers,” he said.

However, most of the birds are geese.

Doug says he’s enjoying the scenery and may even get a lawn chair out. That is, if the geese will give him some room.
