DENVER - Experts say one way to save time and money during the holidays is to actually travel on the holiday and return shortly after.

However, if you cannot do that, many of the links below may be able to help make your trip smoother.

Most people say they plan to travel by car this year. There are many resources you may want to look into if you are hitting the road during the holidays.

If you are traveling with gifts for others, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) wants to remind you not to wrap them as security workers may unwrap them to check the contents.

The TSA wants to remind holiday travelers if they want to bring a liquid in their carry-on, it must be three ounces or smaller and all your carry-on liquids must be in a single, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag. For more information on TSA's security guidelines, click here.
