Angelina Jolie was being interviewed with Britain's foreign secretary when she told Channel Four News that when her six children get into their teenage years, she'll leave acting behind.

AJ: (Asked if humanitarian work more rewarding than acting?) "Yes of course."
REP: "All the time?"
AJ: "Yeah."
REP: "Does that make you think you will give up acting?"
AJ: "I think I'm going to have to give up the acting as the kids hit the teenage years anyway, too much to manage at home, I have enjoyed being an actress - I am so grateful to the job and I have had great experiences and I have even be able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered and I have done things for fun."
REP: "You are speaking in the past tense there, as if from now on..."
AJ: "I will do some films and I am so fortunate to have the job, it's a really lucky profession to be a part of and I enjoy it but if it went away tomorrow I would be very happy to be home with the children - I wake up in the morning as a mum and I turn on the news like everybody else and I see what's happening and I want to be part of the world in a positive way."

Jolie is 37 years old and her oldest son is Maddox - who is 11. Then Pax is 8 and Zahara is 7. She is followed by 6-year-old Shiloh and 4year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Jolie is a special envoy for the United Nations and was speaking with Britain's foreign secretary about war-zone sexual assault.
