This position is responsible for providing support services to veterans and their families.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field or equivalent relevant experience plus two years of direct case management experience.
You should have experience working with homeless populations and/or veterans. The job requires working with computers and client level data entry and driving across the Metro area.
Individuals with veteran status are preferred
You will assist the family in remaining or becoming housed and be responsible for assessing the needs of each household, working in conjunction with the Veterans Services Team. This position is responsible for conducting outreach and all aspects of case management, including helping with VA benefits, obtaining and coordinating other public benefits and managing temporary financial assistance.
