Job responsibilities includer leading a group of elementary students in the out-of-school program (working either the 2 PM to 5 PM classes or the 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM classes) located in two Southwest Denver elementary schools.

The comprehensive, school-based project is "strengths-based" and includes both educational and enrichment programming.

The Youth Instructor has 20 children assigned to him/her and leads the children throughout their project, recording attendance, handling behavioral problems, communicating with parents and assisting with the overall project to ensure its success.

You must have a high school diploma (or GED) and six months to a year of related experience or training in teaching.
