GREELEY (AP) - Financial services provider GMAC says it will close a call center in Greeley by the end of March, eliminating 127 jobs.

Employees were told Wednesday.

Company spokesman Michael Stoller says workers who aren't reassigned will get severance packages.

The center is operated by GMAC subsidiary Semperian and services car loans for GMAC. Stoller says the Greeley center's primary work was in customer service, and the company has fewer customers now.

GMAC was once part of General Motors Co. The federal government owns 35 percent of GMAC after two cash injections totaling $12.5 billion.

The company is taking with the Treasury Department about a third infusion.
