MURRAY, Ky. (AP) - Morningstar Foods is recalling certain units of dairy products, including whipping cream and chocolate ice cream mix products, packaged in grocery store brands.

The Murray, Ky.-based company says they might contain soy protein that is undeclared on their packaging.

Those who have an allergy to soy protein could have a reaction but the company says no reactions have been reported. The problem was discovered when consumers reported off-taste in some products.

The recalled items include certain units of 32-ounce Great Value Half & Half; 32-ounce Great Value Heavy Whipping Cream; 32-ounce Kroger brand Heavy Whipping Cream; and 64-ounce Wholesome Farms Chocolate Ice Cream Mix.

The recalled products were distributed to retail outlets to 31 states. For more information on the recall and affected item codes and expiration dates, consumers can call 800-854-3243.
