ARAPAHOE COUNTY - Sheriff's deputies are now classifying a man's death as a homicide after his body was found in a front yard Friday morning.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department says the body of the man was discovered at 5:30 a.m. inside the Willow Creek subdivision on East Phillips Place which is located near the intersection of County Line Road and South Yosemite Street.
"At this point we do not have a cause of death. We are conducting a criminal investigation and have nothing further to report at this time," Captain Louie Perea of the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Investigation Services said.
The sheriff's office believes the man, who was identified as 23-year-old Andrew Gelston Graham, was killed somewhere else and his body was left in the neighborhood.
Perea says it is unknown if Graham lived in the area. He also said the surrounding neighborhood is in no danger and that homes have not been evacuated.
Responding crews are actively investigating the situation which has been classified as a suspicious death.
As the investigation continues, responding crews searched both sides of South Yosemite Street, just north of County Line Road for evidence, according to Perea.
