VIEW SLIDESHOW DENVER - The legend of the mountain of snow at Bible Park continues to grow.
“This is crazy,” said one observer.
Another calls it “the newest skyline in town.”
Wednesday, truck after truck dumped load after load of snow at the park. The snow was picked up from nearby streets.
The city has dumped snow off at 12 different sites scattered about town. By this weekend, with another storm looming, the city’s Public Works Department hopes to have another six locations available.
The city estimates so far, along with a number of private contractors, it has plowed off enough snow from our streets to fill 200 football fields with 1 foot of snow.
At Bible Park, the snow pile continues its upward climb, much to the amazement of the neighbors who routinely stop by to snap pictures.
