4 charged with voter fraud in 2008 election

ARAPAHOE COUNTY - Those who took the saying vote early and vote often to heart in Arapahoe County are now finding out that motto can get them into a lot of trouble.

Four voters are being charged with voter fraud for what the district attorney's office and county clerk say were attempts to vote more than once in the 2008 presidential election.


Three of the four face misdemeanor charges - another is charged with felonies.

Wade M. Almanza, 19, of Aurora and Daniel Christopher Ramirez, 21 of Aurora, are charged with voting twice.

Kyron C. Rough, 25, is charged with several felonies, including forgery and impersonating an elector.

The district attorney's office didn't release the name of the fourth person.


The district attorney's office didn't the party affiliations of those caught in the act. 9NEWS knows their office received 44 complaints of people trying to do the same thing.
