Current suspect legal status
It has been eight months since we aired our investigative reports and hour special - Predators @ your Door.
9NEWS promised follow ups on those arrested after they went through the court system.
Currently:
-9 of the suspects pleaded guilty
-4 are set for sentencing in December, 2006 and January, 2007.
-3 are still in various stages of hearings.
-14 men were arrested during the two-day sting.
-Two more were arrested in the weeks after.
On Sunday, December 3rd on 9NEWS at 10 p.m. and on 9NEWS.com, we will update the story with the previously unreleased evidence obtained by prosecutors involved in the sting. This includes on-line chat room conversations with the suspects and video-tape recordings by district attorney representatives after the suspects were arrested.

JEFFERSON COUNTY - Jo Jo Begay from Farmington, N.M. told 9NEWS Wednesday he really can't explain why he went to the house of a 14-year old looking for sex after an on-line chat. The house was a decoy for a multi-agency internet predator sting. Begay and ultimately, 14 other men were arrested.
