The vehicle is described as a silver or gray 1987 to 1989 Toyota Corolla.

According to police, 32-year-old Laura McDermott was walking across South Broadway at East Cedar Avenue when she was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on South Broadway.

The driver fled the scene without helping the injured pedestrian or notifying police. McDermott was taken to Denver Health Medical Center and pronounced dead.

Newly released video shows what police believes to be the car involved passing a security camera. Shortly after the vehicle passes the camera's frame of view, several people can be seen running towards where the incident occurred.

The vehicle is described as a silver or gray 1987 to 1989 Toyota Corolla. It might be missing a front passenger-side turn signal and should have significant damage to the front driver side.
