DENVER - Police are looking for a man who opened fire after ordering a sandwich and demanded money at a Subway restaurant.

Denver Police say it happened on June 6 around 8:40 p.m. when the man went into the Subway at East 37th Avenue and Peoria Street.

When the clerk refused to give the man money, the man fired a shot with the gun. The clerk then gave him the money and he left the store.

He's described as white, in his mid-30s, with short, dark brown hair with two-day facial stubble. He was wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about the man is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
