BROOMFIELD - He's been on the run for more than a month, but now Lakewood Police hope that by releasing images of a July bank robbery they can catch the robber.

On July 1, a Hispanic man robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 598 Summit Blvd., near Flatirons Mall in Broomfield.

The suspect entered with his cell phone up to his ear. After walking to the female teller, he passed her a handwritten note that demanded cash. He also threatened that he would shoot the teller. He then left on foot, according to police.

The suspect is a Hispanic male weighing about 180 pounds and 5 feet 7 inches tall. He was wearing dark clothing, a knit cap, sunglasses, and an orange traffic vest wrapped around his neck when the robbery happened.

If you know who this man is or have any information that could aid in this case, call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
