VIEW SLIDESHOW DENVER - A person accused of smashing windows at the Colorado Democratic Party headquarters last week was formally charged on Monday.
Maurice Schwenkler, 24, is charged with criminal mischief.
Investigators believe Schwenkler and another person smashed several windows at the building at 8th Avenue and Santa Fe Drive on the morning of Aug. 25 causing an estimated $11,000 in damage.

Schwenkler was released in lieu of a $5,000 bond and will be back in court on Sept. 9. Last week, several anarchist Web sites asked for help in raising money for Schwenkler's bail.
