DENVER - Police are looking for a person who robbed an elderly woman and then stole her car.

Denver Police say it happened just before 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon near East Alameda Avenue and South Gaylord Street.

The robber is described as black, in his 30s, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build, a long, thin face and short, black hair.

He was wearing a snap-up style, dark blue jacket without logos, dark pants and shoes. He was clean shaven.

Police are also looking for the woman's car: a 1998 green Subaru Legacy. The license plate number is BKD-335.

Police say the man should be considered armed and dangerous.
