DENVER - A large crowd gathered to rally in Civic Center Park on Tuesday night as part of the Tea Party Express.
Protestors are upset at the size and scope of the federal government.
The event was headlined by the man known as "Joe the Plumber," a.k.a. Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher.
Wurzelbacher became a political commentator last year after he questioned then-candidate Barack Obama about his tax plan during a presidential campaign stop.
Sen. John McCain then brought up "Joe the Plumber" several times during a presidential debate.
"It is our job to hold these politicians accountable to their actions. They can no longer treat us as a piggy bank. We need to say no," Wurzelbacher said at the rally.
The Denver rally followed another one held earlier in the day in Fort Collins.
