DENVER (AP) - A 29-year-old Westminster man has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for heading a crime ring that trafficked in stolen goods, methamphetamine and other illegal drugs.

Colorado Attorney General John Suthers said a Jefferson County judge sentenced Duy H. Nguyen Tuesday for his role in a scheme to buy, sell and trade illegal drugs. He said Nguyen exchanged drugs for computer equipment, appliances, jewelry and other items stolen in at least 19 home burglaries throughout the Denver area in 2007 and 2008.

Authorities say Nguyen sold drugs to juveniles and used them to sell drugs. He pleaded guilty in September to violating the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act, tampering with a witness and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
