The home is located on 3 Ute Trail and the fire began just before 2 p.m.

When SKY9 arrived at the scene of the fire, there were still a few flames but it appeared to be mostly extinguished.

The house appears to be a total loss, with a huge hole burned through the roof and most of the front of the house gone.
