GOLDEN (AP) - A Littleton soccer coach who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl on his team has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.

The sentence Friday for 46-year-old Stephen Martin Myers includes intensive supervision sex offender probation for 20 years to life after his prison sentence.

Jefferson County prosecutors say the girl had called Myers to pick her up after she had an argument with her parents last year. Prosecutors say he ended up having sex with her at hotels in Colorado Springs and Walsenburg.

He pleaded guilty Aug. 18 to kidnapping and sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
