It is not clear whether the fire has reached the sanctuary.

There are photos of the wolves that were evacuated posted on the sanctuary's Facebook page.

9NEWS has learned volunteers are with the wolves 24 hours a day.

UPDATE AS OF TUESDAY: Currently the majority of wolves of W.O.L.F. sanctuary have been evacuated to Larimer County where they are being housed in kennels built by volunteers. The animals are on a regular feeding schedule, have fresh water, anti-stress aromatherapy, medication for those needed, shade, air-conditioning, and are even being groomed. Although some of the animals are still inside the sanctuary, they have concrete fire dens strategically placed to ensure their safety until the roads surrounding the sanctuary can be reopened.

If you'd like to make a donation to help the sanctuary, offers can be made on their Facebook page.

Donors will be contacted when donations are needed.
