State officials tell commissioners they have issued two notices to clean up the mess, but it could take a long time to get a court order. State officials say it would be faster for the county to take action.

The commissioners have ordered a property manager to fence the area where sewage bubbled up, establish a pumping schedule and clear the dried sewage.

According to the Greeley Tribune, raw sewage has been leaking to the surface at Rocky Mountain Vista Mobile Home Park for about four weeks.
