A majority of the canvass board refused Monday to give their approval, citing possible irregularities.

The 4-3 vote will not have an immediate impact on the election.

The results still will be sent to the Colorado Secretary of State's Office along with the concerns.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera, board members cited concerns about the signature verification process and they worry thousands of ballots may have been improperly accepted or rejected.
