Alie Berrelez disappeared in 1993. Her body turned up several days later in the foothills of Jefferson County.
With state-of-the-art DNA technology, the crime was recently solved.
Following Allie's death, Richard created Abducted Lost Innocent Enough - a foundation dedicated to protecting children from abduction. ALIE is designed to increase awareness about child abduction and raise money to purchase bloodhound dogs for police investigations.
Their mission is accomplished by educating parents and children about the dangers of abduction and the precautions that should be taken to lessen the dangers.
