Santa will read a story every half hour at the PACE Center from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. He - as well as the Parker Police Department - will write a letter to our troops overseas and help fill backpacks for the Parker Task Force Backpack program.

The items most needed for the backpacks are:

  • Beef Stew
  • Chili
  • Soup
  • Microwavable Meals
  • Ramen Noodles in a Cup
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Chef Boyardee Products
  • Snacks: Crackers, Goldfish, Popcorn, etc.
  • Juice Boxes
  • Variety Pack Cereal

The Parker Task Force Food Bank is a nonprofit organization operated solely by dedicated volunteers. The mission of the Food Bank is to provide short-term support to those in need in the Parker, Franktown and Elizabeth areas. The Backpack Program focuses on providing kids in need with food for the weekend.

Each Friday, the qualifying child picks up a backpack with food items to provide them nourishment so that they are able to focus on their studies instead of their hunger.

The Parker Task Force will also be accepting cash and gift card donations. For more information about the Parker Task Force or other ways you can help, please visit or call 303.841.3460.
