John Elway was on the field and not in the front office the last time the team put a Lombardi Trophy into the case.

This year, fans are convinced that trophy will be coming back to Denver. Some fans even say they are already looking into flights to New Orleans.

It has been a while since Bronco fans felt confident the team was going all the way. It has been years since some folks say they've had the same kind of excitement they had in past years. But, with Peyton Manning on the team things have changed.

"Bring in a guy like Manning and you're pretty much guaranteed a little bit of success. Since John Elway was the quarterback of the team it is just hard to believe that we'd see the Broncos dominate the way that they do now," Tom Haney, a long time fan said.

Sunday night, when the Broncos took home their 11th straight win against the Kansas City Chiefs, securing home-field advantage in the playoffs, fan moral couldn't have been higher.

"It's what the old Broncos spirit used to be, the new Broncos are the same as the old Broncos. I think the Denver Broncos are the hottest thing in football and generally speaking the hottest team makes the Super Bowl," Haney said.

There was no question about it, fans walked out of the stadium convinced that Payton Manning and his team will bring home the Lombardi Trophy. It's a feeling that has been a long time coming for Broncos fans, but the wait is finally over.

"Looks like we get to watch ourselves go to the Super Bowl. We've been through the tough days of 8 and 8 you know getting shattered at the last game, we had a miracle last year and this year it's got to be the year, it's exciting," Chris Kanne said.

There are still several games left before the Broncos will know if they'll be heading to the Big Easy, but first, they have to get through the playoffs.

Tickets for the AFC Divisional playoff game will go on sale Monday at noon and can be purchased at any Ticketmaster location or online at www.ticketmaster.com

If there are any tickets left, they will be available at the Broncos Ticket Office. Prices range from $60-$200 for reserved seats and $175-$425 for club seats and there will be a limit of four tickets per household.
