GUNNISON - Jury deliberations continued Thursday in the case of a Texas businessman accused of murdering his wife near their Lake City, Colo. summer home in 2008.
Frederick Mueller is accused of drowning his wife Leslie in Cottonwood Creek. Mueller claims she fell off a ledge in to the creek.
The trial started Jan. 10 in Gunnison County. Closing statements were made on Wednesday.
Jurors returned to the Gunnison County Courthouse Thursday morning. As of 10:45 a.m. Thursday, jurors were still mulling over their options.
The judge says Mueller will either be found guilty of first-degree murder, a lesser guilty charge such as second-degree murder or he will be found not guilty.
