DENVER - Snow in Saturday's forecast won't stop more than 600 scantily-clad runners from lining the streets of Denver for Cupid's Undie Run.

The chilly, 1.5-mile run will take runners to the Denver Art Museum and around Civic Center Park.

In its second year in Denver, the run raises money for the Children's Tumor Foundation and hopes to increase neurofibromatosis awareness.

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow in the nervous system.

In 2010, Chad Leathers and three friends organized the event to help Chad's brother fight against the disorder.

Cupid's Undie Run has now grown to 17 cities across the US and in Sydney, Australia.

This year the organization hopes to raise $1 million for the Children's Tumor Foundation. Across the nation they have raised $700,000 and $54,000 of it has come from Denver.

If you're joining in the race, be sure to wear your skivvies or something Valentine's Day in nature. Any non-compliers may be subject to wear a "Ask me why I'm wearing pants" shirt, says Denver race director Sarah Morely.
