ARAPAHOE COUNTY - A 20-year-old driver who hit and killed a police officer while driving drunk pleaded guilty Friday to four felony charges and one misdemeanor.
Conner Donohue pleaded guilty to charges including vehicular assault, homicide, leaving the scene of the accident involving serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of an accident causing great death and driving under the influence.
On May 28, 2012, Englewood Police Officer Jeremy Bitner was working a traffic stop at the intersection of South Broadway Street and East Belleview Avenue when Donohue hit Bitner and a driver who was originally pulled over.
The sentencing will be held May 31 at 8 a.m.
