KUSA- The 9NEWS team - along with 92 others - participated in the Polar Plunge at the Aurora Reservoir on Saturday.
The water temperature was a chilly 37 degrees. Participants of all ages ran into the freezing water to raise money for Special Olympics Colorado. The event has become an annual tradition for hundreds of Coloradans.
An after party with food, a photo booth and a DJ took place for plungers at nearby Arapahoe Park.
