One thing many of us can agree on right now, no matter which party affiliation you are, the election commercials are getting old.
Caley Valdez, 11, called Bliss Bakery at the Southlands Mall in Aurora with an idea for cupcakes.
She came up with "Mint Romney" and "BaRocky Road Obama" cupcakes.
The owner of the bakery, Brandy Fogleman, thought it was a great idea and whipped up the election cupcakes.
The "Mint Romney" cakes even have gray hair and big eyebrows.
They both agree, this is a fun, sweet way to get through the next few days of the election.
"I thought maybe with all this negativity going around, with the ads on TV and online, maybe we could balance it out with something positive," Valdez said.
"I think it's awesome that the kids are so aware of what's going on but I also think it's good they have a sense of humor about it all and come up with something fun like that especially when the rest of us are getting a little fed up with the advertising they can come up with something funny to share with everyone else," Bliss Cupcake Shop Owner, Brandy Fogleman said.
The candidate cupcakes are being sold now through election day at Bliss Cupcake Shop at the Southlands Mall in Aurora.
Folgeman says she'll be keeping a tally on which one wins the popular vote.
