At the Perth Zoo in Sydney, Australia, there are some new faces that some consider downright ugly.

The not-so-cuddly animals include echidnas, also known as spiny anteaters. They are the first of its kind to be bred in a zoo.

Each one weighed less than one gram at birth and spent their first two months living in their mothers' pouches.

The echidna is in danger of becoming extinct in some parts of the world.

Let us know if you think these creatures are ugly or weirdly adorable?
