The three most recently-announced closures impact the stores at 5141 N. Chambers Rd. in Denver, 2615 W. Bowles Ave. in Littleton and 16746 E. Smoky Hill Rd. in Aurora.
Employees were informed of the decision Friday morning, said Albertsons spokeswoman Christine Wilcox.
The stores will close in early March, with the pharmacies inside closing in late January.
Wilcox said all three properties have been sold to a single "out-of-state retailer." Wilcox would not name the buyer or say if the stores would remain supermarkets.
Property records for the Denver location still listed the property owner as Albertsons as of Friday afternoon.
Albertsons will work with affected employees to place them in open jobs at Albertsons 22 remaining Colorado locations, Wilcox said.
Five months ago, Albertsons announced store closures in Arvada, Denver, Greenwood Village, Lafayette and Longmont. The company also relocated a distribution center from Aurora to Arizona.
