The Boulder County Coronor says Sean Griffin, 40, Staci Griffin, 41, both of Longmont, and Robert Montgomery, 50, of Rural Boulder County were all found dead Monday.
Boulder Police say they got a call Monday morning reporting shots fired at Boulder Stove & Flooring, located at 2887 30th St.
"Officers arrived on scene and treated this as if it were an in-progress call," Sarah Huntley, a spokeswoman for Boulder Police, said.
When police got there at 11:10 a.m., they say the door to the shop was unlocked because it was open for business. Inside, they say they found three bodies.
The business is owned by Sean Griffin. His wife also works at the business.
Police won't say if they are investigating a double-murder suicide, but they tell 9NEWS they are not looking for suspects.
"Arriving officers tell me they did not see anybody running from the building or any vehicles fleeing from the parking lot," Huntley said.
Authorities covered the license plate of a BMW parked at the scene.
Pam Ortega does bookkeeping and payroll for the small business.
"We had tried faxing an order into them this morning, my husband couldn't get anybody to pick up the phone ... I know all 5 employees, I know the husband and wife that own it, I've known them for a long time," Ortega said.
Ortega says the BMW belongs to the Griffin's.
When 9NEWS arrived at the Griffin's Longmont home, police were on the scene and someone was there to pick up the couple's dogs, and take them away.
Neighbors say the couple has lived there for a year, and they have a daughter.
